We spent NYE in a quiet little hotel in Fort Bragg, CA and it was nice and relaxing. No crazy people, no loud noises and I was with my family, with the exception of the older kid. I was reluctant about leaving him home alone but it all worked out in the end.
The botanical gardens was nice, and the little one enjoyed the ride on the skunk train. In all we brought in the New Year nice and peaceful.
