The 8 to 5 gets in the way of real life.

Well all the things I had wanted to do, such as the baking, the crafting, the sewing and most of all the living my life to its fullest.. keeps getting bumped for my 8 to 5 job.. Don't get me wrong I do like working, I just don't "like" my job, it's not fulfilling. I need more, I need to d something I truly enjoy, it's just that I don't know how to do the things I enjoy and still earn enough money to take care of the bills.
I wish I knew... till then... I guess I am stuck at this dead end job being and feeling like it just doesn't matter... 


I was able to make some chocolate banana cupcakes which were really good, unfortunately I suck at remembering to take pics.. LOL

Here is to hoping I make it through this day without crying!

A cupcake project

I know I should be thinking diet, weight loss, blah blah blah......

I however am a rebel.. I am thinking chocolate, caramels, sugar, frosting... mmmm.....
I am going to do a dare I say it... a cupcake challenge, I will do a different cupcake a week (boy is my hubby's co-workers going to be mad) I cant have all those cupcakes in my home, so my creations are going to work with the hubbs, I would take them to my work but there are just not that many people in my office so I would end up eating them all and well.. I just cant do that if I am trying to lose some weight... LOL...
Anywho... tonight I will be baking up some banana cupcakes with how bout a chocolate frosting... and I will even enlist the help of the 4 year old!

Reset button!

I totally need a reset button on my life, not my family life that part is doing great.. but on my physical and mental life, I need to rethink my goals in life, but before I even get into that I need to restart my mental state.  I guess what I mean is i need to get off my fat butt and and think about how I sabotage myself when it comes to eating right and getting exercise. 
I need to lose some weight, but I did not make that my new years resolution... because that is just so played out... lol..

My goal for this month is to cook right and start moving

First: I am going to create a healthy menu for the week... (I will allow myself one "free" day where I do not have to cook)
Second: I will make a schedule for the days I will go walking (I usually do my walking during my lunch hour at work)
Third: I am going to use this blog to record my success.. and failures... so I will have to hold myself accountable for my actions!
